thrilled to be watching this right now if I’m going to be completely honest. Christmas? I don’t know it’s not my favorite. Over-hyped if you ask me. Don’t get me wrong, there are aspects of Christmas that I love but it comes and goes too fast. Anyway, it was brought to my attention today that my list of admirers is growing. Two of them are divorced men with 3 year old daughters. The people I would choose to be my admirers never end up being the ones admiring. whatever. I did get enough potato soup to feed a village out of it today though, so there’s that. Also, it’s always nice to have a nice ego stroke if ya know what I mean. my nap cycle was odd today. i fell asleep twice fully clothed (including scarf) with no recollection of actually closing my eyes but if I did my calculations correct, these periods of rest lasted no longer than an hour each even if they felt like centuries. It was nice. The music I have been listening to as of late has been pretty unsatisfactory. OH GOD. I woke up at 3:45 this morning for work. 15 minutes before my alarm would have gone off. Don’t you hate that? when you wake up early but with not enough time to go back to sleep and make it worth it. I fucking hate that. Sometimes sneezing is the best.

So, probably 70% of our customers are regulars. Today one of those regulars brought in something special for Ruben. I am not Ruben but Ruben hates everyone and doesn’t want anything that people bring him unless it’s food. Let me explain to you what this is. Someone took home a coffee bean cup probably one that they enjoyed their morning cup o’ joe in and then proceeded to cover it in some kind of lacquer in order to make it suitable for planting. They filled it with dirt and rocks and topped it off with one of those succulents or whatever they’re called that hardly need any water. I didn’t want to see it end up in the dumpster so I gave it a home. I think it’s hilarious. Ruben won’t tell me which customer made it but I have a few guesses.

I don’t get it. Why would the ice-cream cone be saying both, “it’s cool I can chill” and “hurry up”? It would make more sense if he ~~she~~ it first said, “hurry up” then realized it was dealing with an inchworm so decided to calm down for a second. But obviously the, “I can chill” part was intended to be read first.
